Grant Innovation Team

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) Grant Innovation Team provides leadership, guidance, and support to district teachers, staff members, departments, and schools in securing grant resources that support the CMS Strategic Plan 2024: What Matters Most.

Our goal is to actively seek supplemental funding and provide compliance assistance to ensure that each grant proposal submitted on behalf of a school or the district is accurate and of the highest quality possible.

The Grant Innovation Team is also responsible for tracking and reporting all grants and donations in the district in compliance with state law and board policy.
