The EC Parent Advisory Council (ECPAC) is run by parents who are concerned about the special needs of children in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools and have a student with a disability enrolled in a Charlotte-Mecklenburg school.
Advise the school district on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students with disabilities
Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the school district’s special education programs
Increase community awareness to encourage understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of children with special needs
Establish a network of support between parents with similar needs
All meetings are open to the public.
First 30 minutes will be available for public comment. To sign up, please submit information at CMSECPAC@gmail.com by noon, one day prior to the meeting.
