Carenda is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She has a B.A. Degree in Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a M.A. Degree in Law (Mediation and Dispute Resolution) from Regent University. Carenda has more than three years of Recruitment experience. She has Generalist experience in Employee Relations and ADA.  Carenda has previously worked for local and federal government municipalities. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Human Resources and Training.

Carla's roots run deep in the Charlotte community as she is CMS graduate of West Charlotte HS!  After graduating from Tufts University in Boston, she worked in New York City and eastern NC before returning to Charlotte in 1998. She has 20 years of HR experience as a generalist, manager, and recruiter in both the public and private sectors. Carla started her career in CMS in the classroom and now serves as a recruiter. Carla's family has been actively involved in the rapid growth and development of the Queen City since the 1960’s.

Christine is a North Carolina native.  She has a B.S. Degree in Administrative Management from Clemson University.  She has served CMS in a variety of positions ranging from school-based positions to Human Resources, which has given her in-depth knowledge pertaining to CMS.  Christine brings that knowledge into her current position as a Recruiter of Alternative Licensure due to previous experience as a Licensure Case Manager.  She is excited to help identify and recruit teachers into Alternative Licensure from many rich and diverse backgrounds.

Kylee is from Dayton, Ohio. She as a B.A. Degree in Family Consumer Science education from the University of Akron and a master's in Educational Leadership and Administration from Walden University. Kylee previously worked as a high school CTE Teacher and also served as an Assistant Principal.  Kylee is excited to develop teacher candidate pipelines for our schools collaborate with our university partners.

Laura is from Poughkeepsie, NY. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master’s degree from the University at Albany. Laura taught 2nd grade at a public school in New York City and later transitioned into the field of Recruiting. Laura has worked as a Recruiter, and a Recruiting Supervisor. She is excited to be working as a Recruiter at CMS because it combines her two passions – Education and Talent Acquisition.
