K-2 Report Card Information

CMS is pleased to announce the release of a revised K-2 report card reflecting the new North Carolina Essential Standards and the Common Core State Standards. The new report card reflects the work of school based and central office based staff as well as the comments and reflections of our K-2 teachers and administrators. Through a joint effort of C&I Advisory Team and the Student Applications Department. The report card rubric is designed to reflect a child’s progress on the standards which represent grade level proficiency at the end of the year and is much more comprehensive in its’ scope than previous versions.
