The CMS Property Management Department consists of Property Management and Community Use of Schools. The department provides service for a district portfolio that is one of the two largest in the state of North Carolina. The schools and facilities it supports are divided into seven Learning Communities serviced by 1 Director, 5 Senior Portfolio Managers, 1 Community Use of Schools Manager, and 2 Community Facilities Assistants. It strives to take facilities related issues and concerns away from Principals' everyday decision making so that they may concentrate on Curriculum and Instruction.
