Accountability
School Performance

Measuring school performance, or Instructional Accountability, has become an increasingly complex game of numbers. As you look at these numbers it is important to remember that they do not represent a direct linear comparison. They are a measure of growth and improvement rather than absolute performance. For more information about how the State of North Carolina measures performance visit the State Department of Public Instruction. It is also important to recognize that test scores are only one way of judging a school. We encourage you to visit the schools, talk to the teachers and find out for yourself which school will be the best fit for your child.
