Breana Fowler
Breana Fowler, Student Advisor
Breana Fowler is the student adviser to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education. She is a senior at North Meck High School and attended Elizabeth Traditional, Irwin and Piedmont IB. Her family moved to Charlotte from Brooklyn, N.Y., when she was 18 months old. In addition to her duties as student adviser, Breana is involved in a wide array of community and extracurricular activities. She has been a Girl Scout since kindergarten. She has worked with Second Harvest Food Bank and Samaritan’s Feet as a volunteer, as well as participating in the Delta Gems program of the sorority Delta Sigma Theta. At North Meck, she is in the National Honor Society, is president-elect of the National Technical Honor Society, a member of the Key Club, an International Baccalaureate ambassador and the founder and leader of the Viking Student Newsletter. She is also on the varsity softball team. Breana founded and is president of a peer mediation program at North Meck to reduce suspension rates.
